We are one of the three recognised Trade Unions in the East of England Ambulance Service.

Our roots lie in the Ambulance Service Union which merged with the GMB in 2008. Nationally we are the largest Union in the Ambulance Service and our Branch Secretary & Branch President sit on the National Ambulance Committee which meets six times a year to discuss issues, lead campaigns and decide pay proposals to be put forward to HM Government.

We provide advice, support and representation, as well as organising campaigns and negotiating to improve and protect our members’ pay, terms and conditions of employment.

Anyone in EEAST employment has a legal right to be a member of a Trade Union and to be represented by GMB.
